MPD

 Formally a unit of GE, this microwave division was sold to private ownership and became MPD. Their product offering consists of microwave circuits and subsystems, microwave triodes and Gunn diodes, silicon imaging arrays, ceramics and ceramic-to-metal seals and triggered vacuum and gas-filled spark gaps. MPD maintains their MIL-Q-9858 quality program on all products they manufacture for such various markets as police radar guns, transponders and airborne applications, military switches for missiles, as well a protection circuits for scientific and military equipment.
